Berdena Fay Moss Glenn was born Oct. 12, 1935, at Mountain View and went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021.

Berdena was the daughter of Clyde and Revah Moss.

In 1939, Berdena’s mother passed away in childbirth.

In 1947, Berdena and her dad moved to Loyal where her dad met Esther Hawkins. They were married in 1950.

She was a wonderful mom and grandmother.

Berdena married Alvin “Blackie” Glenn in 1952.

They were high school sweethearts and were married 69 years.

In 1956 Berdena and Alvin joined P.C. United Methodist Church. She made many friends and loved her church family.

One of her favorite things to do was to travel to the great Smoky Mountains of east Tennessee in the fall to see the glorious fall colors of the foliage.

She is survived by her husband, Alvin; son, Larry Dean and wife Robin of Del City; granddaughter Erika and husband Shane of Oklahoma City; grandson Derek Dean and wife Ashley and two precious great granddaughters, Tirzah and Royah of Oklahoma City; son Ronald Gene and wife Tracey of Gravette, Ark.; granddaughter Danielle and husband Austin of Fayetteville, Ark.; nephews Keith Duncan of Kingfisher, Jerry Kilgore and wife Marquetta of Tecumseh, Gary Derrick and wife Fran of Oklahoma City, Jeff Moss and wife Jacque of Kingfisher, Dick Glenn and wife Betty of Turpin, Gene Glenn and wife Rita of Joplin, Mo.; nieces Pam Fuxa and husband Greg of Loyal, Darlene Sullivan and husband Bob of Tecumseh, Michelle Derrick of Boston, Mass., Lynn Ballard and husband Mike of Enid, Janice Sellers and husband Mike of Bixby, and Cathy McIntryre and husband David of Riverton, Wyo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Rhonda Elaine, and siblings Nina Kilgore, Lucille Melton, JoAnn Duncan, Elton Moss, Arletta Moss and a baby brother.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, at P.C. United Methodist Church following with burial at 3:30 p.m. at Forest Home Cemetery in Loyal.

Services are under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.
