Candace Johnson

Candace Lee Johnson, 67, of Kingfisher, died March 28, 2021.

She was born Aug. 21, 1953, to Verdean George and Elsie Ann (Oppel) Johnson.

Candace graduated from Big 4 Elementary and Cashion High School.

She attended Draughon’s Business School in Oklahoma City.

Upon graduating, she worked at various banks in Kingfisher, including NBC and InterBank, as a deposit specialist, and retired in 2020.

She enjoyed spending time at church teaching VBS and Sunday School for over 30 years.

Her family will miss her dearly.

She was very much loved as the best aunt and always there to help if anything was needed.

She is survived by brother Randy Michael Johnson (wife Lavon) and sister Sherrye Dean (Johnson) VanOsdol (husband Kelly) and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in

Funeral service was Saturday, April 3, at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Kingfisher.

Interment followed at the Kingfisher Cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.
