Dillon Chase Jung was born June 5, 1991, in Kingfisher to Kenneth (Andy) and Sandra Jones Jung. He passed suddenly and most unexpectedly on Sept. 5, 2021, in Elk City to be with his loving Lord and Savior.

Dillon was a proud Kingfisher High School graduate as well as a Southwestern Oklahoma State University grad where he honed his love of music by earning his music education degree.

Dillon spent over six years working with countless middle school and high school students to inspire and encourage their love of music. He absolutely loved working with all his scholars and watching them grow by leaps and bounds.

On Nov. 21, 2015, Dillon was blessed to marry the love of his life, Kathleen Anne Crook from Okeene. Dillon was an exemplary husband who faithfully loved and cared for his beautiful wife every day they were blessed to spend together.

Dillon had a love of life that couldn’t be matched.

He was an avid Marvel and Star Wars fan, always ready to see the next movie or show that was coming to theaters.

He loved riding his motorcycle, video games, hunting, camping, being outdoors and, most of all, fishing with his dad.

He also was an active volunteer with HOBY Oklahoma and was a proud alumni member of Kappa Kappa Psi, honorary band fraternity.

He leaves behind his countless band students he greatly loved and admired in Mangum and Elk City; his wife Kathleen Jung of the home; father, Kenneth (Andy) Jung of Kingfisher; brother Jeffrey Jung of Edmond; his mother-in-law, Barbara Crook of Okeene; as well as a host of aunts and uncles and numerous cousins and countless friends who share Dillon’s own unique exuberance for life.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Jones Jung, grandmother Mae Jones, grandfather Lois Jones, grandmother Nadine Jung, and grandfather Kenneth I. Jung.

Services are under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service and will be held at a later time.
