Donald ‘Bottles’ Boutwell
Donald James “Bottles” Boutwell, 83, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 21, 2026, at his home.
Born Feb. 12, 1943, to Dale and Rosie Lee Boutwell in Dover, Donald lived most of his life in Kingfisher.
Donald was a loving dad, papa, brother and friend. He was a talented musician and a skilled mechanic.
He found enjoyment in his 35-plus-year-career as a well-respected aircraft technician and as a business partner in H&B Transportation of Duke since 1986.
Donald built a house and moved to Yukon in 2000, where he eventually retired, but never gave up his favorite hobby of keeping the place looking nice.
Donald will be long loved and remembered by family and friends for his high energy, strong work ethic and dependability, along with his down-to-earth, honest, what-you-see-is-what-youget manner.
Donald was preceded in death by both parents; two brothers, Dale Lee Boutwell and Clyde Dale Boutwell; and one sister, Linda Kay Wright.
He is survived by his two sons, Bret (Desiree) Boutwell of Claremore and Rex (Kimberly) Boutwell of Yukon; two grandchildren, Brayden Boutwell and Kenslie (Colbie) Smith, both of Claremore; three sisters, Edna Eeds, Shirley Stitt and Diane Rosen; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 11, at Faith & Vision Pentecostal Church, 202 N. 7th St., Kingfisher, with burial to follow at Kingfisher Cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.
