Wilbur ‘Blue’ Pickle

Wilbur “Blue” V. Pickle, Jr., 67, passed away peacefully in his home in Crescent on April 5, 2026.

He was born Aug. 9, 1958.

Blue was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who was always proud of his children and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Sherri Pickle.

He is also survived by his children: son Chad Pickle and wife Lisa; daughter Jennifer Shaw and husband Steven; daughter Randi Pickle and wife Mason; and son Justin Pickle and wife Jenna.

He is further survived by his grandchildren: Haley Hampton and husband Josh; Macy Pickle; Ally Pickle; Blake Pickle; Aidan Shaw; Brooklyn Shaw; and Colt Pickle; and one great-grandchild, Walker Hampton.

Blue is also survived by his sister, Christine Butterfi eld and husband Ronnie.

A service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 10, at the First Baptist Church in Crescent with burial to follow at Oakland Knowles Cemetery.
