Dorma Lea Hobbs was born April 21, 1930, to Emil and Hazel Boeckman and passed on Sept. 27, 2021.

She graduated from Dover High School in 1948 and married the one true love of her life, John D. Hobbs, in 1949.

They lived on the farm that was settled by her grandfather in the Land Run. They farmed wheat and stocker cattle until his death.

Dorma Lea continued to live on the farm until moving to Kingfisher in 1993.

She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse and oldest child, Rodney Hobbs.

Dorma Lea is survived by her son Greg Hobbs; daughter Patty (Anthony); her grandsons Toby (Jennifer) and their two kids, Marley, Andy and grandson Carmine; daughter Jamae (Mike) and their daughter Jaryn.

She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Melinda Hobbs and grand-sons Aaron (Lyndsay) and their kids, Evan, Makayla, Emilee and Micah and grandson Kyle.

Funeral services were Friday, Oct. 1, at Federated Church officiated by Daryl Reininger and Luke Aadalen. Burial followed at Kingfisher Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to Federated Church with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
