Dorothy Carol Pratt, 85, was called to Heaven on Jan. 25, 2022, after a battle with cancer.

She was born Oct. 7, 1936, to Theo and Ethel Thomsen.

Carol married the love of her life, Delbert Pratt, on Nov. 19, 1954. From this union they had two children: Sherrie and Ronnie. Carol was employed for many years at Throckmorton Abstract Agency and Peoples National Bank.

After her retirement, Carol and Delbert opened an antique store in Kingfisher. They enjoyed going to antique stores, auctions, collecting fine glassware, doing glass shows and traveling.

Carol enjoyed traveling and eating out with friends.

She met and enjoyed the past six years with Bob Kretchmar. Carol is survived by her daughter Sherrie Humphries of Duke; sister Janice Glenn and husband Jerry of Bonita Springs, Fla.; brother-in-law Lealand Pratt and wife Mary Jayne of Fairview; brother-in-law George Ludwig of Kingfisher; special friend Bob Kretchmar; grandchildren Michelle Milner and husband Jason of Duke, Brian Humphries and wife Alexa of Woodward, Kari Pratt of Kingfisher, Kimberly Pratt of Kingfisher, Kasey Pratt and husband William Foster of Kingfisher, Shay Pratt of Skiatook and Logan Pratt of Okarche; and 12 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Carol was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Delbert, son Ronnie Pratt, son-in-law Darrel Humphries, granddaughter Christy Humphries, parents Theo and Ethel Thomsen, sister Evelyn Ludwig and brother Marvin Thomsen. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, at Kingfisher Church of the Nazarene.
