Elizabeth Lou “Betty” Hauser was born May 20, 1931, to Ernest and Elsie (Staude) Hauser in Loyal. She moved to her eternal home Jan. 31, 2019.

Betty was raised on the family farm southwest of Loyal and graduated from Loyal High School.

She loved all the farm animals and gardening, canning and sewing. She served faithfully in her home church for years and loved Women’s Guild.

She gave her life to the care of others; first her elderly parents and then her brother-in-law and her sister. She had no children of her own, but children were drawn to her.

She loved them all.

Betty treated her great-niece and great-nephews as if they were her own and doted on her great-great-nephews as well.

Betty leaves behind her nephew Kenneth Wehrenberg and wife Helen of Loyal; great-niece Kimberly Milner and husband Michael and their two sons, Luke and Matt of Duke; great-nephews Kevin Wehrenberg and his son Alex of Loyal, and Kenny Wehrenberg of Oklahoma City.

Preceding Betty in death were her parents, sister and brother-in-law Irmgard and Kermet Seefeldt, and brother-in-law John Wehrenberg.

Funeral service is 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, at Sanders Funeral Chapel in Kingfisher. The family is requesting memorial donations be made to Russell Murray Hospice or the Loyal Evangelical Church in Loyal.
