Ina Beutler

Ina Grace (Eakins) Beutler was born Aug. 7, 1931, in Cashion to Clarence and Blanche (Lunnon) Eakins. She passed away Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019, in Oklahoma City. She was 87.

Ina attended Cashion Public Schools.

She met and started dating James Beutler when he returned home from Korea in 1947. They were married on Sept. 3, 1948, in Guthrie.

They were married for 68 years. They lived in Cashion for 27 years and then moved to the country in June 1979.

Ina was a homemaker where she cared for her children, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She raised two nieces, Betty Reasoner and Kathy White, and two nephews, John West and Jim West. Later she worked for John A. Brown Department Store. She was a member of the Cashion Christian Church, the Kingfisher County Extension Club, the Rebekah Lodge for many years and an honorary member of the Cashion FFA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, grandson Lance Wayne Beutler, brother Harold Eakins, sister Joanne Eakins, brother-in-law Terry Christy, and nieces Betty Reasoner, Kathy White and Paula Roberts.

Ina is survived by her daughter Rita Carroll and husband Wiley of Cash-ion; son Jeff Beutler and wife Patricia of Cashion; grandchildren Jennifer She-line and husband Mike of Edmond, Chris Carroll and wife Holly of Cashion, Jared Beutler and wife Amanda of Guthrie, Brittany Beutler of Yukon, Keith White and wife Stephanie of Cashion, Kevin White and wife Robin of Yukon, and Jim West and wife Alisha of Cashion.

She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Derek and Brook Sheline, Maggie and Reed Carroll, Hendrix and Ava Beutler, Paxton Burnett, Braden and Brylee White, and Emma and Isabella West.

Ina is also survived by her sisters Linda Harman and husband Warren of Cashion, Margie Christy of Cashion, and Donna Adams and husband Russell of Oklahoma City,  as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, at Cashion Christian Church with Phillip Gold and Dan Eakins officiating. Interment will follow at Cashion Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.

Visitation will be held 1-8 p.m. Monday.
