Jerry Jones was born June 11, 1962, in Coffeyville, Kan.

He passed away peacefully on Oct. 19, 2025, at the age of 63.

Jerry spent most of his life in Kingfisher where he graduated from Kingfi sher High School. After high school, Jerry went on to work as a truck driver which spanned for many years of his life.

Jerry could often be found cooking on his smoker, fishing in the tranquility of nature, engaging in his unique hobby of snake hunting or spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his brother Louis Jones and sister Neva Jones; his six children, Holden Diehl and spouse Jamie Diehl, Crystal Jones and spouse Joey Carmichael, Lynna Ahlden-Blunk and spouse Bob Blunk, Ceara Ellis and spouse Dustin Ellis, Denise Jones and Mylee Jones; 17 grandchildren, Cadence Diehl, River Diehl, Renley Diehl, Addilynn Carmichael, Skylynn Carmichael, Klaiten Carmichael, Zoey Carmichael, Travis Ahlden, Baby Ahlden Blunk, Audrey Ellis, Dustin Ellis Jr., Sophie Ellis, Jerzi Ellis, Rex Julian, Lainey Jones, Tate Novosad and Baby Novosad; one great-grandchild, Waylon Ellis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Berchie and Bill Altizer, and his brother Harold Jones.

Their memories were a guiding light in his life and he often shared fond anecdotes of his childhood and the lessons learned from his beloved family members.

His legacy will continue to thrive through the stories shared by his family, the laughter he inspired and the countless memories he created with all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
