Kenneth Renner

Kenneth Paul Renner died Sept. 28, 2021, at St. Katharine Drexel Retirement Center in El Reno.

Graveside services were 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Okarche with Rev. Jeff Klade officiating.

Services were under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Ken was born Feb. 20, 1949, at Kingfisher, son of Howard and Virginia (Tautfest) Renner.

He graduated from Omega High School and had a bachelor’s degree in science.

He taught earth science in Yukon, Oklahoma City and Greenfield and farmed.

On June 23, 1974, he and Janet Schwarz were married in Okarche.

Janet survives him.

Ken is also survived by a son, Philip Renner and wife, Hannah, of Okarche; daughter, Carrie Renner of Okarche; brothers, Don Renner of Edmond and Les Renner of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Rhett Renner, Emmy Renner and Lance Renner; and numerous nieces and nephews.
