Laurance Clyde Randall went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

He was born Oct. 9, 1935, on a farm southwest of Okarche to Newton and Nellie Randall. Laurance graduated from El Reno High School in 1953. He then attended Draughon School of Business. He enlisted in the Oklahoma Air National Guard in March 1954. He retired as a lieutenant colonel after 39 years of service.

He met the love of his life, Deloris Ann Kauper in August 1955. They were married on Aug. 11, 1956. They lived the majority of their marriage in a home they built southwest of Okarche.

Together they raised six children. Deloris passed away in February 2018.

In July 2021, Laurance married Monna Lorraine Golden Klaus.

Laurance was preceded in death by his parents, Newton and Nellie Randall; his lovely wife Deloris; sisters Irene Stafford and Viola Schweitzer; son Michael and daughter-in-law Teri; brothers-in-law Jim Harmon and Harold Schweitzer; and sister-in-law Donna Randall.

He is survived by his second wife Monna; his children, Robert Randall and wife Kim, Cynthia Mulanax and husband Stan, Janelle Sylvester and husband Jason, Kenneth Randall, and Darla Ketner and husband Scott; 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; sister Leota Harmon; brother Tom Randall; and brotherin- law Dale Stafford.

Laurance and Deloris enjoyed traveling after his retirement and traveled to almost all of the states.

He also took up playing music. He played the mountain dulcimer, mandolin, fiddle and four-string banjo. Deloris was his biggest fan.

He established a music group called “The Friendly Circle” and they played at several places including nursing homes, museums, civic events and for their own enjoyment.

He also enjoyed spending time with his many friends and family.

Funeral Services were 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at the Benson Memorial Chapel with burial following at Canadian Valley Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
