Lloyd Junior Perryman, known to all as Junior, was called to his heavenly home on June 9, 2023, at the age of 72.

Born on April 2, 1951, in Tulsa, Junior lived a life filled with love, faith and selflessness. Throughout his life, Junior was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Donna Perryman; their children David Perryman, Brenda and husband Chris Wallace, Patricia and husband John Eddy, and Justin Perryman; his beloved grandchildren Kara and husband Will Kraus, Ashlee and husband Travis Oltermann, Samantha and husband Kelly Phillips, Emily Eddy, Cassie and husband Kris McCormick, and Jaryn and husband Joe Bliss; and his cherished great-grandchildren Ryan, Josie, Colt, Willow, Noah, Addy, Matt, Lela, Johnathon, Sophia, Abby, Isabella and Morrgan.

He will also be missed by his siblings Glenda Ford, Bill and wife Katie Perryman, Betty and husband Troy Poarch, Dave and wife Dian Perryman, Debbie and husband Duane Robinson, and Ronnie and wife Teresa Perryman.

Junior was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Vida Perryman and two sisters, Erma Hellard and Paulette and husband Joe Jones. Junior was a hardworking man who dedicated his life to providing for his family.

He held various jobs over the years, including mechanic, wrecker driver, roofer and pastor.

His tireless work ethic and dedication to his family were an inspiration to all who knew him. A man of deep faith, Junior was passionate about spreading the word and love of God to everyone around him.

In his role as a pastor, he touched countless lives and led many to Christ. As the good book says, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” - Matthew 5:16 Junior had a great love for the outdoors and spent many hours fishing, hunting and gardening.

He was also a skilled woodworker, creating beautiful pieces that will be treasured by his family for generations to come.

These hobbies brought him great joy and allowed him to share his love of nature and craftsmanship with his children and grandchildren. To know Junior was to love him.

He was a loving, faithfi lled and selfless man who always put the needs of others before his own.

He had a kind word and a helping hand for everyone he met and never hesitated to share his wisdom and guidance with those in need. In his final days, Junior was surrounded by the love and prayers of his family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of love, faith and service to others. As we gather to celebrate Junior’s life and mourn his passing, let us remember the words of the Lord Jesus Christ, who said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.” - John 11:25 We take comfort in knowing that Junior is now in the loving arms of our Savior and that we will one day be reunited with him in Heaven. Junior’s life is a testament to the power of faith, love and family.

His light will continue to shine through the lives of those he touched and his memory will be cherished forever by all who were blessed to know him. May God’s peace and comfort be with the Perryman family during this time of loss and may we all strive to live lives worthy of the example set by Lloyd Junior Perryman. Amen.

A service honoring the life of Junior was Thursday, June 15, at the First Assembly of God Church in Kingfi sher under the direction of Wilson Funeral Service, Kingfisher.
