Reba Mumford

Reba Lee Mumford, 89, of Wayne, passed from this earth on Oct. 25, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.

A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, in Paoli.

Reba was born Aug. 18, 1932, in Hopping in McClain County to J.H. and Ovela (Clement) Mumford.

She is survived by a brother, J.W. “Sonny” Mumford of Wayne; five loving children, Debra Cullum of Bowlegs, Garry Matthews and wife Donna of Dover, Rita Russell and husband Curtis of Oklahoma City, Rhonda Matthews of Hennessey, Neva Hailey and husband David of Dover; 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Reba was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Larry Matthews; a granddaughter, Amber Dawn Matthews; a great-grandson, Kadin Copeland; the father of her children, Luther Matthews; one sister, Gaudie Neva Webb; a nephew, Steven Mumford; and a son-in-law, Frank Cullum.
