Rebecca Elyzabeth (Baustert) McFadden was born April 24, 1984, to Robert “Bob” Baustert and Roberta (Newer) Leather-wood in Kingfisher. She gained her angel wings May 18, 2019, in Enid.

Rebecca was a 2003 graduate of Okeene High School. She obtained three associate’s degrees from Northern Oklahoma College and was a 2015 graduate of Autry Technology Center, where she obtained a degree in nursing.

She was employed by The Commons in Enid as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She had a passion for helping people and loved what she did.

In February 2006, Rebecca married her high school sweetheart, Cody McFadden in Okeene. Rebecca and Cody had three children, Alexzander, Gabrielle and Colton. Later, Rebecca and Cody divorced.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends but mostly importantly she loved spending time with her children.

She was preceded in death by grandparents Robert Newer, Paul and Mary Agnes Baustert; great-grandparents George J. and Edna C. Newer, Marven and Johanna Henrichs; great-aunts Evah Henrichs and Marvella Henrichs; and great-uncle Leroy Henrichs.

She is survived by her children Alexzander Michal, Gabrielle Elyzabeth and Colton Dean of Waukomis; mother Roberta Leatherwood and husband Mike of Loyal, father Robert “Bob” Baustert and wife Wyola of Okarche; siblings Kenneth Russell of Hennessey, Racheal Russell of El Reno, Elizabeth Baustert of Oklahoma City, Lynda Riedlinger and husband Jonathan and their children, Alli and Jaxson all of Kingfisher, and Travis Leatherwood of Kingfisher.

Rebecca is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorials can be made to Relay for Life of Kingfisher County, Attn: Racheal Russell, 7702 N. Alfadale Road, El Reno, OK 73036. Make checks payable to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 1, at Sanders Funeral Chapel. Interment was at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Okarche under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.
