Robert “Bob” Quinton Martin, 64, passed away peacefully at his home in Yukon on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022.

Bob was born March 24, 1957, in Hereford, Texas, to Richard and Elsie Martin.

He attended school in Yukon, where he graduated from Yukon High School in 1975. He also attended Canadian Valley Technology Center where he completed its auto mechanic program.

Bob married his high school sweetheart, Vicki, on December 20, 1975. They went on to have two children together, Brian and Cynthia.

Bob worked as a John Deere diesel mechanic for 45 years. He worked for Moss Implement Co. for 15 years and retired from P&K Equipment in 2021 after 30 years with the company.

He thoroughly enjoyed his job and he became a master at his craft. He became the go-to mechanic for everyone.

Bob enjoyed working on his cherished 1968 Chevelle SS 396, the OSU Cowboys, the Dallas Cowboys, NASCAR and spending time with his family and friends.

Most importantly, Bob was a caring and loving man. He lived for his family and they will miss him very much.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Vicki Martin; parents, Richard Martin and stepmother Willie, and Elsie Foster and stepfather Charlie; brother Timothy Martin; sister Cynthia Jo Martin; father-in-law and mother in-law Dean and Sandra Mitchell; and brother in-law Greg Mitchell.

He is survived by son Brian Martin and wife Sarah of Bethany; daughter Cynthia Sanderson and husband Colton of Oklahoma City; grandson Trevor Martin of Bethany; brother Danny Martin and wife Kim of Colorado City, Texas; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Feb. 8, at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Yukon Cemetery, Yukon.
