Shirley Seibold

Shirley Elaine Seibold, 86, died March 7, 2022, in Oklahoma City.

She was born Oct. 12, 1935, in Stanley, N.D., to Arthur T. and Frances O. (Reum) Freelander.

She graduated from Makoti High School in 1953 and Minot College of Business.

Shirley married Wesley Seibold on July 26, 1959, and they later moved to Seattle, Wash., where she lived for 50 years.

She retired from the Boeing airplane company and in 2016 she moved to Southern Plaza Retirement Center in Bethany to be near family.

She enjoyed raising horses, hunting deer and elk and moose, ballroom dancing and playing games with friends. She was a Christian and active in church.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Clyde; and sister, June Dornbusch.

Survivors are her brothers Roger Freelander and wife Chichi of Loyal and Lowell Freelander and wife Diane of Powder Springs, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial service planned at a later time.
