Tami Shipley, 60, of Kingfisher, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 16, 2022.

Tami was born July 20, 1961, to Frank and Donna Shipley.

She graduated Kingfisher High School in 1979. She was also a part of the 1992 class of Autry Technology Center’s LPN nursing school.

Tami was the most caring person you could ever have the pleasure of meeting.

Anyone who knew her could tell you she had such an infectious laugh and was always smiling her beautiful smile.

At the very young age of 4, she was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, which ultimately drove her to her nursing career. She was a compassionate, dedicated, loving nurse for 25 years.

Afterward, she continued caregiving and volunteering until her passing.

She adored being a “Gramma” and “GG.” She loved her dog Buddy.

She will most certainly be missed greatly by her family, friends and all who knew her.

Tami is survived by her son David Richards Jr., his wife Terra, their five children, their son-in-law and their two grandchildren; daughter Kristi Kleckner and husband Jacob and their 14 children; brother Frank Shipley and wife Pam; sister Darlene Stanley; sister Helen Wehrenberg and husband Kenneth; and sister Tena Engel and husband Gus.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Kent Stanley.

A memorial service was held Wednesday, March 23.

Any condolences, flowers or donations can be sent to 8443 State Highway 33, Kingfisher, OK 73750.
