Timothy Michelsen

Timothy Wayne Michelsen was born in San Diego, Calif., on March 21, 1972, to Lyle and Sandra Morgan Michelsen.

He died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025, at his home south of Hennessey at the age of 53.

A celebration of life was held Saturday, Nov. 1, at Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.

Tim graduated from Covington-Douglas High School in 1991 and attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva.

Most of his life he worked as a wireline operator or engineer in the oilfield industry and he founded Eagle Wireline, LLC in 2020.

Tim is survived by his daughter Gracie Michelsen; ex-wife Deanna Grace; two sisters, Yvonne Hudson and husband Melvin of Midland, Ark., and Amanda Shelito and husband Mark of Enid; two nieces, two nephews and one greatniece.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents.
