Coming up

While most teams get a holiday break, that’s not fully the case for three basketball squads in Kingfisher County.

The Kingfisher and Lomega girls and the Okarche boys will take part in tournaments next week.

The two girls teams will play in Ada at the Bertha Frank Teague Mid-America Classic.

The Okarche boys are traveling northeast to Tulsa for the Tournament of Champions.

Our weekend edition will preview those tournaments.
