Lomega started the game on fire Tuesday and rode it to a 75-38 home win over Kremlin-Hillsdale.

The Raiders hit five of their 10 3-pointers in the first quarter.

That helped get them to a 13-point lead they never lost.

Senior Brenden Uhlenhake played big role in the early barrage as he nailed three 3-pointers in the first.

Lance Yost and Noah Lentz each added one.

Jaxson Snowden took care of business inside the 3-point line with 8 points.

All told, Lomega posted 27 points in that first quarter.

Snowden poured in 10 more in the third as the Raiders outscored their guests 18-8.

He finished with a gamehigh 24 points.

Uhlenhake ended his night with 13 points while Yost scored 11.

The win upped the Raiders’ overall record to 6-4. They improved to 2-0 in the Cherokee Strip Conference.

Lady Raiders move to 10-0

Reagan Snowden did work both inside and out to lead Lomega to its 10th straight win.

The sophomore scored 21 points in the Lady Raiders’ 62-38 home win over Kremlin Hillsdale last Tuesday.

Lomega, ranked No. 1 in Class B-II, was 10-0 overall and 2-0 in Cherokee Strip Conference games after the win.

Snowden has proven quite capable of playing in the paint during her career.

Against the Lady Broncs, she scored half of her team’s points in the first quarter as Lomega got out to a 16-7 lead.

Then in the second, Snowden stepped outside to knock down a pair of 3-pointers as Lomega extended its lead to 37-17.

Hadley Ott also made a pair of treys in that quarter and two more in the third.

She had five overall as part of her 17 points.

Aliana Lawson added 9 for the Lady Raiders.

Lomega played at Cherokee on Friday night (after press time) in its final game before the Christmas break.
