The Kingfisher County Courthouse south side parking area was roped off for construction work Monday.The City of Kingfisher is upgrading electrical service to the courthouse.Commissioners approved the upgrade earlier in the year to accommodate increased computer equipment in county offices.

Hennessey High School announced its honor rolls for the second semester of 2024-25.Students named to the Superintendent’s Honor Roll received all A’s for the semester.Those listed on the Principal’s Honor Roll received no grade lower than a B during the term.

Mercy Hospital Kingfisher has been named one of the country’s top 20 critical access hospitals for quality by the National Rural Health Association (NRHA), a recognition that places the hospital among an elite group of rural health care providers across the U.S.
