Tornadoes were confirmed in northwest and northern parts of Kingfisher County as storms ravaged other parts of the state from early Monday afternoon and into the morning hours of Tuesday.

The cause of a fire that caused extensive damage to a barn and home near Lake Elmer early Sunday morning is still under investigation.Kingfisher Fire Department was called to a fire about one-half mile north of Airport Road, just off of County Road N2810 at 4:21 a.m. Sunday.
