Forensic audit of Town of Hennessey continues

An auditor from the State Auditor and Inspector’s Office spent three days at Hennessey’s Town Hall Jan. 29-Feb. 2.It’s part of a continuing forensic audit of the town’s financial records.The audit began in mid-October after a request by then-District Attorney Mike Fields of Enid.

County receives healthy dose of weekend rains

Rain fell across Kingfisher County over the weekend, supplementing already generous rainfall for this time of year.Reports ranged from .4 inch at the Okarche Grain and Feed Elevator, eight miles west of Okarche, to 1.6 inches at the Twila Adams residence five miles east of Kingfisher.

OSU announces fall 2023 honor rolls

A total of 8,807 students were named to the 2023 fall semester honor rolls at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, including 3,983 students named to the President’s Honor Roll for earning an A grade in all their courses.
