Local residents who receive Meals on Wheels recently got an extra with their delivery, thanks to a community service project by Kingfisher STARS students. The 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) students crafted bookmarks to be delivered to recipients.

Local retired educators meeting Wednesday

Kingfisher County Retired Educators will meet this week at the Kingfisher County Farm Bureau office. The meeting is 10 a.m. March 3. The meeting place is 117 W. Sheridan in Kingfisher. All retired teachers and support personnel are invited and encouraged to attend. Local dues are $10.
