A Dover woman was killed and two Kingfisher teenagers were injured in separate traffic accidents on icy roadways Monday, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports. Brandi Lyn Byrum, 42, of Dover, was pronounced dead at the scene of a rollover collision just after 5 a.m. Monday on U.S. 81, .

When Cashion Superintendent Sammy Jackson says “all we do is win,” he isn’t just talking about athletics. Cashion High School’s academic team made history last Saturday when it finished as state runner-up in the OSSAA’s Class 3A state academic bowl at Rose State in Oklahoma City.
