No new cases at county jail

Kingfisher County Sheriff Dennis Banther said he’s had to “scramble” to cover for three employees who are off his roster for COVID-19 quarantine.Two of the staff members tested positive and another was quarantined after a spouse tested positive, he said.

County OKs annex re-flooring start

Kingfisher County commissioners gave the go-ahead to begin work replacing the flooring on the first floor at the courthouse annex building at their weekly meeting Monday. The contract, which was approved at an earlier meeting, was awarded on a low bid of $20,889.
