Two of the seven state FFA officers for 2020-21 could be Lomega FFA members. Tate Ott and Whitney Glazier were selected from a field of 33 candidates as finalists for the offices of northwest area vice president and reporter, respectively, the state organization announced last week.

Kingfisher County commissioners took the first step Monday to replace the aging Robberts Avenue Bridge over Uncle John Creek at the east edge of Kingfisher. They approved an agreement with the Oklahoma De partment of Transportation to replace the bridge as a CIRB project.

Kingfisher Heritage School announced its Great Expectations Students of the Month for January during Jacket Roundup on Jan. 10.

A total of 6,966 students were named to the 2019 fall semester honor rolls at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, including 2,923 students named to the President’s Honor Roll for earning an “A” grade in all their courses.

Oklahoma State University awarded degrees to a total of 1,761 students this past fall, including 1,076 Oklahomans, according to the Office of the Registrar.
