SIMON GRACEY of Dover holds a Christmas card he received from President Donald Trump. Gracey said he wrote the president a letter prior to Christmas sharing his views about several points and was surprised when he got the president’s card.

Glazier, Ott honored at Loyal Lions

Rotary Club hosts four KHS seniors

Kingfisher High School seniors Catherine Stangl, Kaylee Hyman, Kaci Jackson and Alexis Stitt were guests last week of the Kingfi sher Rotary Club. Stangl is the daughter of Greg and Meg Stangl. She’s active in FFA, student council and FCCLA.

Hennessey Child Study Club votes to support Whittenburg fundraiser

The Hennessey Child Study Club discussed community projects at its Jan. 9 meeting at the First Christian Church. Members decided to participate in the Whittenburg Family’s Benefit at 6 p.m. Feb. 8 at the Cow Palace. The Whittenburgs’ son, Logan, an elementary school student, recently passed away.
