RCC lists top students for semester

Redlands Community College recently announced students named to the college’s honor rolls for the Spring 2019 semester. Students listed on the President’s Honor Roll have completed 12 or more credit hours and have earned a GPA of not less than 3.

Last Friday marked the start of opening weekend for Savana Reherman and Buddy Barn. Savana, 10, who will be entering fifth grade at Kingfisher Middle School in the fall, has been working on plans to open Buddy Barn, a dog boarding service in Kingfisher, since last summer.

Smith among top OSU undergraduate students

One hundred thirty-five Oklahoma State University undergraduate students were recognized for earning the Honors College Degree during a special hooding ceremony prior to spring commencement. Among those receiving the honor was Erin Smith of Cashion, who earned a degree in political science.

Training helps Crandall recognize heart attack

Matt Crandall’s training as a lineman at Cimarron Electric Cooperative - and five minutes of driving - might have helped save his life. Crandall, now the credit manager at Cimarron Electric, was a guest speaker at the Kingfisher Rotary Club May 21.
