Katie Parham pounded out three hits, including a two-run home run, as Okarche downed Garber 11-2 Saturday to claim the Highway 81 Tournament championship.

Parham had a two-run single in her second at-bat of the first inning, one that saw the Lady Warriors produce seven runs.

She added her homer in the fifth inning.

Kinley Pruett, Emma Roby, Chloe Rother and Lawson Geheb also had run-scoring hits in the explosive first. Geheb picked up the win with 6 innings of work. She struck out nine and gave up six hits with no earned runs.

Parham finished 3 for 4 with 4 RBIs and 2 runs.

Rother was also 3 for 4. She drove in 2 runs and scored 2.

Roby and Cramer both went 2 for 3. Roby had 2 RBIs and 2 runs.

Okarche also got wins of 12-4 over Timberlake and 3-0 against Chisholm in the tournament.

The Lady Warriors followed that up Monday with a 7-2 victory at Cashion.

Geheb struck out 11 while giving up just six hits and one walk in the complete-game effort.

She also hit a solo home run in the second at-bat of the game in the top of the first.

Pruett had 3 RBIs and scored twice while Cramer and Roby collected two hits apiece.

The Lady Warriors, ranked 10th in Class A, are now 14-6 on the season.
