Okarche wrapped up the regular season - and a pair of conference titles - in beating a county rival on Tuesday.Cashion hung tough in both games, but it was Okarche pulling out a 54-40 victory in the girls contest and then the Warriors a 64-56 win in the boys game.

Dover’s girls had no problem moving into their district championship game.The Lady Longhorns opened the Class B playoffs Thursday by thumping Billings 71-21.Dover hosted Mulhall-Orlando, 4623 winner over Medford, in Saturday night’s district title game.

Ben Marsh made five 3-pointers in Lomega’s showdown with Class A No. 6 Seiling.He just needed one more. Marsh’s 3-pointer from the corner fell short on Saturday as the Raiders’ furious rally also came up short in a 62-59 defeat.

Dover was back in familiar territory last week: In its regular gym and in overtime.The Longhorns snapped a two-game skid Friday with a 53-50 win at home against Mulhall-Orlando.It was Dover’s fourth overtime game this season and the third time to win one.

If you wanted an idea of how Watonga’s night went against Cashion, the second quarter was a good sample size.Visiting Cashion held its hosts scoreless in that quarter en route to a 50-27 Three Rivers Conference victory.Up 12-7 after a quarter, the Wildcats outscored Watonga 17-0 in the second.

Okarche already had one win over one of the top 2A teams in Oklahoma.The Lady Warriors just missed out on another.Teague Muncy scored 25 points to lead No. 2 Amber-Pocasset to a 47-43 victory at Class A’s seventh- ranked Okarche on Friday.
