As the 2021 high school football season hits the home stretch, it generally means its time to begin serious jockeying for playoff position.That’s certainly the case for the four local teams.

Conner Hine was faster than anyone in his final regular season meet.The Kingfisher High School senior took first place last Friday in the boys race of the Mooreland Cross Country Invitational.Hine ran the five kilometer course in 17:49.

Kingfisher County natives Jennifer Storck (left) and Gina Denten (right) completed the 125th Boston Marathon last Monday. The long time friends crossed the finish line together in 4:10.43. “Boston was incredible!” reported Storck after the race.
