Garber sweeps through Dover, Crescent

Apparently still smarting from their first and only loss of the season, the Garber boys basketball team took out some frustrations on Crescent and Dover last week. The Wolverines showed little mercy Monday in a 78-31 home win against the Tigers or Tuesday in a 108-38 victory in Dover.

Weatherford pulls away from Lady Jackets, 57-42

Kingfi sher’s showdown with Weatherford went much the same as last year’s. The Lady Jackets hung tough for much of three quarters only to see Weatherford pull away late. That’s what happened last Friday night inside the APB as 4A’s seventh-ranked Lady Eagles went home with a 57-42 victory.

Lady Raiders avenge loss to Calumet

Lady Warriors ‘defend’ Garber crown

Defense helped Okarche defend. The Lady Warriors held teams to an average of less than 28 points a game to win the NextEra Energy Resources Invitational at Garber. Okarche capped it off Saturday by holding Cash-ion to four fourth-quarter points in a 41-34 victory.
