Hennessey stuns No. 2 Vanoss

When Hennessey coach Brady Page realized who his team was going to be playing in the first round of the Class 2A state tournament, he was understandably worried. Vanoss was ranked at or near the top of the class all season and featured one of its most dynamic players in Sando Hill.

Preston ends CHS season

Crescent’s run through the 2A consolation bracket ended Thursday. The Lady Tigers were eliminated by Preston, 46-28, in the area consolation semifinals at Enid’s Central National Bank Center. Crescent won three straight elimination games last week at regional.

Scoring drought costly for KHS girls at 4A area
