Darko defense stymies Lady Jackets

Points weren’t easy for Anadarko to come by when the Lady Warriors visited Kingfisher last Friday night.Unfortunately, they were even harder for the home team.Posting its lowest scoring total of the season, Class 4A’s fourth-ranked KHS was knocked off 38-34 by Class 3A No. 3 Anadarko at the APB.

Cashion’s Maloy part of 3v3 team that takes 3rd at nationals

A Cashion first grader was part of a group that brought home a bronze medal from a national soccer event.Bentley Maloy and his four teammates placed third in the U8 division at the 3V3 Live National Soccer Tour’s national tournament.Bentley is the son of Brandon and Kelley Maloy.

Lomega gets conference sweep over visiting Cherokee

A second-half eruption allowed Lomega to outscore Kremlin-Hillsdale 79-62 Tuesday night for a road victory.Down by two at the half, Lomega scored 49 points in the second half.That included 26 points in the third quarter, one that saw Ben Marsh erupt with five 3-pointers.
