Kingfisher High School opens its basketball season at home this Tuesday, Dec. 3.However, it’s a different opponent than originally scheduled.KHS will host Merritt as the girls tip off at 6:30 p.m. and the boys at approximately 8 p.m.

Pawnee ran into the state semifinals last Friday by ending Cashion’s season in a 40-13 quarterfinal victory.Playing on their home field, the Black Bears ran for 412 yards and didn’t attempt a single pass in winning for the ninth straight time.Cashion’s season ended with an 8-4 record.
Lomega stayed unbeaten - and untested - last Tuesday by downing Calumet 78-29 on the road.The Lady Raiders are 4-0 and are winning games by an average of 42 points.This one trended in that direction early as the Lady Raiders were up 20-7 after a quarter and 40-13 by halftime.
