Hennessey Eagles victorious in first district game

Three different Eagles accounted for two touchdowns apiece as Hennessey got its district season started with a victory.Hennessey scored the game’s first six touchdowns Friday in a 45-12 homecoming victory against Newkirk.The win evened Hennessey’s overall record at 2-2 with its second straight win.

KHS girls claim cross country meet at home once again

A new location didn’t mean a different result in the Kingfisher Invitational Cross Country Meet.The Kingfisher High School girls once again claimed the team title of their home meet, edging runner-up Hennessey by six points.

HJH Softball Ends With Winning Season

Hennessey’s Junior High fast pitch team ended their 2024 season with an 18-6 record. “This group of girls hit the ground running in July and never looked back,” said head coach Lisa Bossa. “I am so proud of their effort.

Cool to the finish

Despite three of the top four-ranked teams not taking part and with the temperatures inching toward triple digits, Kingfisher was still able to make a statement at the Pre-State Cross Country Meet.

Lady Jackets down MSM 12-2 in softball home finale

Shrugging off a slow start, Kingfisher closed strong Monday to win its final district softball game of the season.The Lady Jackets fell behind early, but came back to thump Mount St. Mary 12-2 in six innings on “senior night.”KHS completed its District 3A-1 record with a 6-6 record.
