Kingfisher is hosting annual cross country meet Saturday

Kingfisher will host its annual cross country meet this weekend.

The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. this Saturday, Aug. 30, and will take place west of the football field.

Coach Stefan Seifried said he hopes for 14 to 16 teams to compete here.

The high school boys will run first at 8:30 a.m. They will run a two-mile course.

All other races are one mile.

They include high school girls at 9 a.m., junior high girls (grade 6-8) at 9:30 a.m. and junior high boys (grade 6-8) at 10 a.m.
