Okarche softball regional schedule

Okarche will be the underdog this week when it takes part in a Class A fastpitch softball regional.

The Lady Warriors will be the lowest-ranked team in the double-elimination tournament to be held at Arapaho-Butler.

The host team is ranked No. 4 in the class with a 25-8 record.

Okarche is ranked 25th with its 20-13 mark.

Joining them will be No. 13 Drummond (24-8) and No. 20 Apache (20-10).

One team will advance from the regional to next week’s state tournament.

Following is a tournament schedule:

Thursday

Game 1: Arapaho-Butler vs. Okarche, noon Game 2: Apache vs. Drummond, 2 p.m.

Game 3: Loser 1 vs. Loser 2, 4 p.m.

Game 4: Winner 1 vs. Winner 2, 6 p.m.

Friday

Game 5: Loser 4 vs. Winner 3, noon Game 6: Winner 5 vs. Winner 4, 2 p.m.

Game 7: If necessary, 4 p.m.
