Yost does the most in Raider comeback
Lance Yost willed his team to victory Tuesday in its return from the holiday break.
Lomega outscored Okeene by 9 in the fourth quarter to earn a 48-43 come-from-behind win at home.
Down 6 at the half and 4 after three quarters, the Raiders closed out with a 17-8 run to win their fourth straight.
Yost scored 12 points during that fourth-quarter surge, including a pair of 3-pointers.
He made five treys overall and scored a game-high 26 points.
Lomega also got 11 points from Jaxson Snowden, all in the second half.
The Whippets used a 16-5 run in the second quarter to claim their lead.
Lincoln Feely nailed a trio of 3-pointers for the Whippets during the run. He eventually led his team with 12 points.
Yost had 9 points in that first half.
Snowden came alive in the third with 8 of his points as the Raiders closed their deficit to 35-31.
The Raiders improved to 8-4 with the win.
The Lomega girls moved to 14-1 by thumping the Lady Whippets 71-22.
