Doris Ann (Biehler) Winter passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026. She was born May 12, 1942, to Bryan and Grace Biehler.

Doris graduated from Omega High School with the Class of 1960.

She spent most of her life in the area where she helped on the family farm while raising her two sons, Doug and Greg. Doris instilled in them the value of hard work, love for family and dedication to the life they built together.

She never missed an opportunity to prepare a meal for her family and took great pride in being a devoted homemaker.

Doris loved the Lord deeply and was a faithful member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Loyal. She cherished serving alongside her church family and treasured the friendships she built there.

She found joy in cooking for the youth and volunteering at the food bank.

Family meant everything to Doris; she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and looked forward to every moment she could share with them.

She also enjoyed shopping, keeping up with her hair appointments and you could almost always find her with a Sonic drink in hand.

Doris had a thoughtful heart, loved people dearly and had a special way of making others smile. She never missed the opportunity to send someone a card to let them know she was thinking of them.

She truly lived life to the fullest.

In the last couple of years, Doris made her home at Homestead of Kingfisher, where she continued to make a lasting impact on those around her. She formed many meaningful friendships and cared deeply for the staff and residents there.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bryan and Grace Biehler; her brothers, John and Tom Biehler; and her sisters, Rose Weinmeister, Berneda Cullum and Gracie Major.

Doris is survived by her loving sons, Doug Winter and wife Kris, and Greg Winter and wife Joanie; her grandchildren, Hillary Hooper and husband Tommy, Taylor Winter and wife Emily and Lane Winter and wife Kennedy; and her great-grandchildren, Amelia Winter, Truett Winter and Chloe Winter; along with many other cherished family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 23, at First Baptist Church in Kingfisher, officiated by David Edsall. Burial will follow at Omega Cemetery.

A viewing will be held at Wilson Funeral Home-Kingfi sher from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 22. Family will be present to greet friends from 4 to 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Doris’ memory.
