Verla Jean McAlexander

Verla Jean McAlexander, age 77, of Kingfisher, gained her angel wings on Dec. 4, 2019. She was a resident of Cimarron Nursing Center in Kingfi sher.

She was born April 8, 1942, in Harmon County, to Jesse Mackay Trench and Lola Long Trench and graduated from Vinson High School in Vinson.

She is survived by her daughter Ronda McAlexander Faudel (Kurt) of Halstead, Kan., and sons Johnny (Carmen) McAlexander of Kingfisher, and Jerry (Marny) McAlexander of Syracuse, Utah; two sisters Brenda Moseley-Wright, Midwest City, and Barbara Trench, Amarillo, Texas, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters Pauline Greer, Lena Timmons, Merla Kidd and Ann Wallace; two brothers Harold Trench and Lester Trench; a granddaughter Samantha Pierce and a great grandson Taylor Rex.

Graveside services are pending at Independence Cemetery in Vinson.
