Sherri Crites, 49, Hennessey, passed away Monday, Dec. 2, 2019, at Integris Bass Medical Center in Enid. Funeral service was 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at Hennessey Public School auditorium offi ciated by Drew McElhaney.

Robert F. Hufnagel of Okarche died Dec. 1, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. A prayer service will be 7 p.m. Thursday and Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 6, at Holy Trinity Church in Okarche with Rev. Cory Stanley and Deacon Max Schwarz officiating.

Velma J. Reed

Velma J. Reed, 92, of Yukon and formerly of Kingfisher, passed away Nov. 30, 2019, in Oklahoma City. Graveside service is 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Enid. Velma was born Sept. 28, 1927, in Enid to Joe W. and Thelma D. Holloway Kesner. She married Arrel Reed on Aug.

Evelyn Schemmer

Evelyn Pauline Schemmer, 88, passed from this life peacefully with family by her side on Nov. 25, 2019, at Countrywood Assisted Living in Kingfi sher. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 2, at the Federated Church in Kingfi sher with Reverend Dr.

Paul Hoebing

Paul H. Hoebing was born Feb. 29, 1932, in Okarche, to Leonard and Clara Wiewel Hoebing, the youngest of eight children. He grew up in Okarche, but completed his last three years of high school in Sedalia, Mo. He graduated in 1950 and returned to Okarche prior to enlisting in the U. S.

Olive Appleton

Olive Margaret Powell Appleton went to be with her Lord on Nov. 17, 2019. She was born March 11, 1923, in Jackson, Miss., to Ada Reeves Powell and Martin Powell. Olive grew up in a large extended family in Pike and Walthall (Miss.) counties.

Gorden ‘Dwane’ Kuehl

Gorden “Dwane” Kuehl, 59, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 13, at his home in Hennessey. Dwane had been a truck driver since age 16, driving in the Oklahoma oil fi elds, cross country and, most recently, hauling rock and sand across Oklahoma.

Pearl Hill

AREA DEATH Pearl L. Hill, 82, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019, at her home southeast of Hennessey. The funeral was 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at First Christian Church in Hennessey, officiated by Rev. Matthew Barrie and Rev. Ish Engle.
