Alice Virginia Hinkle, 98, passed away Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025, in Kingfisher.Funeral services were Friday, Jan. 24, at Watonga Church of the Nazarene with Jeff Liles and Jared Burch officiating.Burial followed at Watonga I.O.O.F. Cemetery under the direction of Wilkinson Mortuary in Watonga.

Verilea Elsie Gleichman of Okarche departed this life for heaven on Jan. 21, 2025.Verilea’s birth on Nov. 22, 1936, on the Okarche family farm marked the beginning of a life grounded in faith. Rudolph and Margaret (Henrichs) Meyer welcomed her at the “home place.

Charlene Dale Franks was born July 24, 1941, in Konawa. She went on to be with our Lord on Jan. 24, 2025. She was 83 years old.Charlene grew up in Konawa where she attended Summers Chapel Country School.

James Clifford “Jim” Quigley was born Dec. 31, 1937, and passed away Jan. 23, 2025, at the age of 87. Jim was born in Calumet and grew up in Geary and Hinton. He graduated from Kingfisher High School in 1955.

Verilea Elsie Gleichman, 88, passed away Jan. 21, 2025.She was born Nov. 22, 1936, in Okarche to Rudolph and Margaret (Henrich) Meyer.Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 27, at St. John’s Lutheran Church with burial following at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.

Burnell “Butch” Stevenson, 72, passed away Jan. 17, 2025, at his home in Kingfisher.Butch was born Aug. 14, 1952, in Enid to Curtis M. and Minnie L. Stevenson.He was baptized at an early age at First Missionary Baptist Church in Enid.

Curtis Scott Cowell, 73, was the son of Otto Roy Cowell and F. Vaynne Cowell. Scott was born Aug. 12, 1951, in Perry and died Jan. 18, 2025, in Oklahoma City.

Dorothy Luella Walker Dunigan was born the youngest child of Elvice Eugene and Martha Allene Williamson Walker on Sept. 23, 1944, at Ringling.She passed away Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025, at the age of 80.

Services for Dorothy Luella Dunigan, 80, of Dover will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 24, at Dover Christian Church.Burial will follow at Banner Cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, at Sanders Funeral Service in Kingfisher.

Steven Albert Wheeler, 69, of Kingfisher, died in Oklahoma City of congestive heart failure on Jan. 2, 2025.He was born in Ft. Sill in 1955 to Albert and Marilyn Wheeler and was the first of their three children.
