Kermit Charles Kuelzer, 93, of Kingfisher, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023, in his home.Kermit was born Feb. 26, 1930, at the family home in the Big Four community to Henry William and Lula Mae (Stanfill) Kuelzer.He graduated from Big Four School.

Eldon Leroy Snowden went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Oct. 16, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, at Lifeway Church in Kingfisher with Rev. Jay Snowden officiating.Burial will follow at Kingfisher Cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.

Mildred Ann Shimanek, 90, passed away Monday, Oct. 9, 2023.Mildred was born Dec. 31, 1932, on the family farm to Ed and Frances Havlik Shimanek.She lived on that same family farm east of Hennessey for the entirety of her life.Mildred was a lifelong member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

Marcellus Harold Yarbrough was born in Kingfisher to William E. and Zetha L. Yarbrough on Jan. 17, 1944.

Stanley Richard Kuntz passed from this earth on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023, at the age of 94.He was a loving, gentle and kind husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Stanley was born Nov. 25, 1928, in Kingfisher to Ewald and Mary Vorderlandwehr Kuntz. He attended Sts.

Clarance Mark Hladik was born at home on April 5, 1947, to Joseph Cyril and Clara Emma Houska Hladik. He was the fifth of eight children. Clarance attended Lacy Public School for all 12 years, graduating in May 1965. He went to Central State College (now UCO) for his freshman year.

Verlena Weaver Selby, 102, of Kingfisher, died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023.Graveside services will be held at Kingfisher Cemetery at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service with Rev. Dr. Jennifer Long officiating.

Eugene Frederick Luber, 89, of Wichita, Kan., passed away Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023.A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Okarche, officiated by Pastor Joel Heckman.Eugene was born Oct. 31, 1933, in Okarche to Fred and Regina Kremier Luber.

On Sunday, Sept. 24, 2023, William “Bill” Henry Walke passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on his 96th Birthday. Bill was born Sept. 24, 1927, in Detroit, Mich., to Sanford Evans Walke And Flossie Belle (Wickware).

Warren Lee Stallard, 54, Kingfisher, passed away Sept. 24, 2023, at Texas Health Huguley Hospital surrounded by his family. Warren was born May 25, 1969, in Tulsa to Fred and Dorathea (Lorenz) Stallard. He was the brother to Laura Kay Stallard and Jon Wade Stallard.
