Kingfisher will travel to Sulphur for its Class 4A baseball regional this week. The teams opted to move up the regional a day, so it will begin Wednesday as opposed to Thursday. Following is the schedule for the regional: 

Wednesday

Game 1 - 11 a.m., Sulphur vs. Madill Game 2 - 1:30 p.m., Kingfi sher vs. Woodward Game 3 - 4 p.m., Winner 1 vs. Winner 2 Game 4 - 6:30 p.m., Loser 1 vs. Loser 2 

Thursday

Game 5 - Noon, Winner 4 vs. Loser 3 Game 6 - 2:30 p.m., Winner 3 vs. Winner 5

••• Both Dover and Okarche will be hosting regionals this week.

Dover’s will be in Class B while Okarche’s is in Class A-I.

The Warriors are the topranked team in their class and will be joined by Afton, Barnsdall and Thomas.

The Terriers are the next highest-ranked team at No. 16 in the class.

Okarche was set to play Afton at 11 a.m. Wednesday to open the regional.

Visit the school’s Facebook page for the updated bracket as it, too, has been altered by potential weather later in the week.

Dover also opted to move up its regional a day.

The Longhorns enter the regional ranked No. 5.

Joining them are Smithville, Mountain View-Gotebo and Vici.

Vici is the No. 2 seed and ranked 12th in the class.
