Container gardening for everyone

An educational lesson “Container Gardening for Everyone” will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, at the Kingfisher County OSU Extension Office, 300 S. 13th St, Kingfisher.The lesson will cover the do’s and don’ts of creating an attractive space in just about any area of your home.

January sales tax higher only for Loyal in county

January’s sales tax report from the Oklahoma Tax Commission showed only one county town with a gain compared to last January.However, this month the town with a gain changed from Okarche to Loyal, and it was a big one +442.2%.

Cashion holds off Seiling for win

It happens in waves of 3’s

With its three total wins on the season, Alva wasn’t supposed to provide much of a roadblock for the Kingfisher Yellowjackets.And it didn’t. The Jackets made a season-high 13 3-pointers and tied their highest point total of the year Tuesday in an 80-45 win over the visiting Goldbugs at the APB.
