COVID cancellations

Crescent has moved into the next round of the Class A playoffs without taking the field. The Tigers were set to host Rush Springs Friday in the “play-in” round. However, Rush Springs opted out of the game this week.

COVID-19 claims 3rd brother

A third brother from an Okarche family became the county’s sixth victim of COVID-19 when he died from complications of the disease Friday. The death of Nicholas “Nick” Annuschat, 59, followed on the heels of brothers Ron, 58, and Paul Annuschat, 68, who died the previous week.
