Lady Jackets hosting softball bi-district

McLoud won just one district softball game all season long. Boy did it benefit Kingfisher. The Lady Jackets will get to stay home for a Class 4A bi-district series on Saturday (Oct. 3). They’ll host Bridge Creek in a best-of-three series beginning at 2 p.m.

Players, coaches earn conference honors

The Kingfisher softball team racked up a number of honors in the Tri-County Conference this season. The Lady Jackets earned the conference championship with their 5-1 record, which included a 4-3 victory over conference kingpin Chisholm last week.

Cashion searches for Week 6 football foe

Cashion finds itself in need of a football opponent this week. The Wildcats were set to travel to Hinton on Friday, Oct. 9, for a District A-3 game. However, Hinton has been forced to cancel or postpone the game in order to quarantine due to COVID-19. The Comets also canceled their Oct.
